This winter, we pay homage to Peru’s extraordinary landscapes: from the highest peaks of the Andes, reaching toward the heavens, to the colorful coastal formations that make the country so distinct.

These landscapes do not exist in isolation. They are inseparable from the skies and waters that shape them—just as we are shaped by the people and places around us. They give us life, meaning, and the context in which we move through the world.

Sunlight and moonlight lend the mountains their changing glory. Wind and rain sculpt their ridges, while the ocean shapes the coastline, revealing the rich colors of Peru’s geology and sediments.

Together, these forces create the ground on which Peru’s remarkable flora and fauna thrive, in one of the most biodiverse regions on Earth.
